Here is a collection of pictures and movies I put together from our trip to Sanibel Island last month.

 The boys were reluctant each time someone suggested going to the beach, but then once we were there they loved finding dead things, digging in the sand, watching the waves roll in, and writing letters in the sand.

Grandma Joanie playing ring around the rosy (which Jeff helpfully pointed out is a song that may or may not be about the plague). The boys even liked Grandma Joanie pulling them under the water at the end!

Vacation! Part one

Last Tuesday morning we headed out for eight days in Sanibel Island with Grandma Joanie and Grandpa Stu. We had some mechanical-related and weather-related snafus but ended up in Sanibel late Tuesday night.

Mani/pedis

Mama got a pedicure for our trip to Florida, and the boys were jealous. So we painted hands and toes with blue, green and red Piggy Polish. Both have red right feet and green left feet. Theo has one red hand and one blue hand. Beck went with an every other finger scheme of green and red for his hands.

Bike riding

We had a few days without snow so I took the boys for a bike ride around the block. Unfortunately a couple sunny sidewalks had turned to solid ice, so we diverted to the playground at the school down the street. The boys were delighted to find a clear sidewalk all the way around the playground so they could do laps.
