Staying sane during quarantine

One thing that kept me sane this summer was outdoor live music. The highlight was Sim Redmond Band trio July 31 at Buttonwood, but we also had a couple great nights at the Boathouse Beer Garden after leaving Buttonwood for other concerts. Being outside under the stars, feeling a warm breeze and listening to local live music while drinking a wine slushy made me feel just a little more normal.

Hurrah for the grandparents!

Our parents have been lifesavers these past few months as we've been trying to work and take care of the kids. The boys have spent some time at their grandparents' homes, and the grandparents have come here a lot to take care of the kids at our house a lot, too. We couldn't do this without them!
