Daddy took the boys to do go-karts at the mall but because Theo was only barely 48 inches tall, his legs would have to have been totally extended to touch the gas, so they decided it wasn't safe for him to ride. He took it well and enjoyed some sugary treats while Beckett rode. He loved it, and Daddy was very proud of his great driving!

Jill invited us over to play in her pool and with her kids, 3, 1 and 1. The kids didn't play a ton together but my guys loved the pool!

A dinner at Friendly's, our new favorite restaurant.

Reed and I have taken some nice walks the last couple weeks even though we haven't had a lot of Reed-Mama days. He likes to get out and smell flowers along the way.

Violet day two

Only Reed was home the second day Violet stayed with us for the day. Because it was cool and rainy, we went to Auburn to check out the Play Space, a cool renovated library that is now a play space for kids up to age 6. They have tons of great, low-tech stuff to do, kind of like a smaller, cleaner, better-maintained Museum of Play. Then we went to lunch and had ice cream and stopped at Marcellus Park for some playground time on the way home.

Paddleboarding with the Berkey-Cathles Family

Two weeks ago we spent a great afternoon with the Cathles-Berkey family on the lake. The boys loved jumping off the dock and practicing paddleboarding.
