Museum of Play trip

On a rainy day when Theo and Beckett had camp in Ithaca, Reed and I met Auntie Alexis and her girls at the Museum of Play. It was a super busy day there but we had a lot of fun.

 

Fun at the lake

Reed spent a windy afternoon on the unicorn, tied to the dock.

While Beckett stayed at the cottage to watch tennis and do archery with Grandma Joanie, Theo and Reed went to Taughannock to play with their new nerf guns and play on the playground.

 

Visit to friends in Groton

While we were in Ithaca for the boys' camp, we spent an afternoon and evening with friends Todd, Jess, and Linda in Groton, where we got to explore their 100 acre farm. The boys swam in the pond, rode paddleboats, and ziplined.

 

Adventures with Reed

The week of July 4 Theo and Beckett were in nerf gun camp so Reed and I had lots of time for our own adventures. Reed wanted to see some animals so we went out to Iron Kettle Farm to see chickens, rabbits, horses, cows, and goats. We were lucky to be offered some kale to feed the goats, which Reed loved.

More summer vacation fun--Theo and Reed jamming 16 years worth of child into the baby seat carts at Wegmans.

Scott's wedding in NJ

 

Sawyer and Barb visit Ithaca

The boys love love love their cousin Sawyer, who came up for a visit before cousin Scott's wedding in New Jersey. They even went in the lake, which was a chilly 61 degrees.
