biking in december
We have been truly enjoying the warm, sunny days of this spectacular fall. Reed and I got out for a sunrise walk on a 60 degree day a few weeks ago.
One day after school I didn't listen to them when they said they didn't want to go outside and play. Silly kids, they have no idea what winter is and how quickly it is coming! Many of the parks and playgrounds around here are closed for the season but we snuck in to Kings Park by wading through some brush to get around the fence, and then had a great time eating cookies at the picnic tables, running and kicking in the sand pit in bare feet, and enjoying the great playground.
A few days later we snuck into Santaro Park by parking at the retirement community across the street and crossing with our bikes, where we had the bike park to ourselves.
It was 55+ degrees so we celebrated a great park day at Gannon's.
