Pond hockey and french braids
As Reed's hair gets longer I am getting better at French braids.
On a very cold and snowy evening we met up with some of our neighborhood hockey friends for some pond hockey. So much fun! I wasn't sure how strictly "legal" pond hockey on the neighborhood lake was but we got a friendly honk from a passing police car so I guess not illegal enough to bust up the party!
Theo's first drum lesson.
Online learning. The kids do learning from home on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. They go to school in person on Thursday and Friday. On the at-home days there is live virtual content but we pick and choose what to do based on what holds the kids' attention, and they like being able to pick what activities to do when.
Reed doing a one-on-one virtual class with his regular classroom teacher. She's made time to meet with him for an hour when he's home Monday and Tuesday. Here's his setup in the kitchen with paint can holding the iPad up to the right angle, plus paper and pencil. He loves doing math in the chat box on Teams!Uncle Jon visited us on the weekend of the Superbowl and bad weather in NYC delayed his trip back so we got to keep him for an extra night! Everyone loves Uncle Jon time.
