More beach going

Fair Haven beach

Last week we met Auntie Alexis at Fair Haven State Park for a heavenly day of wave riding and sand digging and seagull chasing. It was glorious.

It's fun to push your brothers off the dock

This game is called, we pretend Reed didn't just push us in the water 45 seconds ago, and we have a cordial conversation before moving to the side of the dock and then he pushes you in again.

Some old fashioned tubing fun, wherein Mama pulls the boys on the tube from the kayak because the motorboat won't start. It actually wasn't even much more work than regular kayaking except when they fell off the tube and pulled the rope attached to my midsection to get back on. That was pretty hard. We tubed over to the Murphy's water trampoline and had a grand time.

Gillie Lake

The boys and I had a great visit to Gillie Lake. We had a big chunk of the beach to ourselves and most of the water. The boys made up lots of great games to play in the sand and in the water. I got to play tag with them for a while, too.

It was a beautiful day for Gillie Lake and for us. Having this gorgeous view and beach to ourselves is pretty magical.
