Zoo trip

Last week Reed threw up one night so he couldn't go to school the next day. He was feeling fine, though, so we spent the day at the zoo. He loved comparing his own wingspan to that of the birds.

This is afterschool now that the weather is finally nicer. A pack of neighborhood boys roams from backyard to backyard, playing street hockey, nerf gun war, baseball, football, Fortnite, or trampolining. It's loud and it smells like feet and it requires a lot of snacks but it is awesome. We love our neighborhood!

Buffalo Zoo trip

 On Memorial Day we hit the road to Buffalo to meet Auntie Alexis and family at the awesome zoo. We had perfect weather and the kids enjoyed every minute of being together and the animals and the animatronic dinosaurs and the dirt to dig in.
