Week 19

Week 19 was a mix of good and bad, with nightmares and contractions on day 1 of week 9 as I remembered our first baby who left us at this time last April. But I've been feeling the babies move here and there and I went to my first prenatal yoga class today. I'm still feeling good and very happy! Jeff is looking forward to feeling the babies on the outside of my belly, and continues to giggle when he looks at my big belly.

12 week sonogram

8 week OB visit

Russian sonographer: Take off clothes and put on gown.
Me: I'd like to try an external sonogram.
RS: Too early. It no work.
Me: Let's try it.
RS: Why you no want internal?
Me: Because it is more invasive.
RS: It not invasive.
Me: Are you going to stick that thing into my vagina? I'd call that invasive.

Long story short, she did an external and look, it worked just fine. If you believe her that that blob is a mini-baby.

Testing the waters

I'm a blogger, I'm blogging....

The goal is to have a spot where we can post photos and add brief updates. So the grandparents don't have to join Facebook to see new photos of their grandbaby.

No photos to post until there's something to post. Unless anyone wants to see a photo of me NOT eating, NOT cooking, NOT exercising, NOT getting out of bed. Because mostly I'm NOT doing anything these days except complaining and sleeping.
