Christmas Tree

Last Sunday we put up the Christmas tree. Jeff and Theo and Beckett went to pick it out and had a pine tree bough sword fight in the parking lot.

Putting the ornaments on the tree. Everyone did a great job picking out ornaments and putting them on unassisted. We probably should have been more careful with doing the glass ones ourselves, to make sure they were up high and put on the branches securely, as one has already broken, but we had a wonderful time.

Watching Home Alone for the first time. All the boys thought it was awesome, but it was right up Beckett's comedy alley.

Reed puzzling

Monday Reed and I had a great day at home. We found some fun 12-piece puzzles in the basement and he had a great time putting them together and taking them apart. I tried to capture his skill and how he worked through each puzzle but when he saw his picture on the camera lens he mostly just wanted to charm himself, which is pretty cute itself.

Museum of Science with Mimi and crew

The day after Thanksgiving we met our former neighbor and dear friend and childcare provider for Theo and Beckett, Mindy, and her family at the Museum of Science in Boston. It was awesome to see all of them and to have the boys get to spend some time with Mindy and all of her family. After the museum we went to dinner together before Jeff left us to go to the Boston Celtics game with Jon, Rich and Mike.
