By some standards, our most recent MOP trip was a bust. Both Auntie Alexis and I were called over the loudspeaker of the Museum (her lost item was a backpack, mine was both of my twins), my kids probably acquired the flu, and because of a new exhibit opening the place was totally mobbed. But it's really fun to watch the kids getting to know each other and exploring together.
Driving the yellow taxi in Sesame Place.
The Berenstain Bears has been a hit for more than five years, and it's fun to share it with Mary Kate now.
Baby Jane!
Reed (in his Cinderella costume he wore most of the day) gets very possessive of the cashier role and the money at Farmer Ben's Farm Stand. His brothers are great at encouraging him to play with them and other kids, and they are also great at stealing as much money as possible from the other parts of the exhibit (the quilt store, the bank, the restaurant) so Reed can hoard it.
Ms. Pacman was an obsession for me as a child, and it proves to be just as addicting to me as an adult. There's something about it! And there's a machine set to free play at the Museum of Play right next to the train table. I could play for hours and it's fun to see Theo and Beckett enjoy it too!
