Happy 8th Birthday!

Theo and Beckett turned eight two weeks ago, and we've been celebrating ever since. The night of their birthday Jeff was out of town, so we opened one present in the morning and then the rest of us went to dinner at Friendly's to celebrate. The next night we celebrated with Jeff and Joan and Stu, with presents and cake. The boys slowly opened their presents over a few days because they spent a lot of time enjoying each one! Then the next weekend the boys had their friend birthday party at a trampoline park. And then when Kathy and Greg could come up this past weekend we had another celebration with presents and treats.

The boys' friend Tahir has a birthday the day after them, so they always get to have two birthday parties close together. Tahir did a Paint with a Twist party this year. The boys made some really cool paintings and had a great time.

Diggerland 2019

This year we celebrated the boys' May birthdays again with a trip to Diggerland. Again we met Nitsan and her family. Every year everyone can ride more things, and more rides open up. We had been planning to go Mothers' Day but the weather forecast was awful so we met on Saturday instead (which was lucky because the park was closed Mothers' Day). The weather was perfect and the waits were short most of the day. A lovely day was had by all. We closed it out with a dinner with our friend Aaron in Cherry Hill NJ but sadly, no photos were taken. The boys were pretty salty after a day in the sun having fun, so it may have been for the best. Jeff drove us all over and found us a great hotel room nearby for the night before, so we also had a great hot tub/pool time before the park opened up. It was a pretty awesome trip.
