Grandma Joanie and Grandpa Stu were somewhat deceived into attending the Trumansburg Fair with us two weekends ago. I admit, it was an idea that sounded better in the abstract than it was in real life. The monster trucks were probably the biggest hit, but still carried a risk of death via crushing. The demolition derbies (yes, there were several rounds of competition) were loud and scary. We will be unlikely to return any time soon.
The kids 12-volt demo derby. In my opinion, child protective services should have been waiting for the parents to sign the waivers allowing their children to participate, and then simply added the parental surrender document to the pile and taken the children. An absolutely terrible idea.
Some fun times on the dock, including tubing and resting from swimming.
So far Reed has no interest in tubing but enjoys sitting in the front seat next to Grandpa Stu while he drives the boat.
