Summer berry season

The babies and I have been thoroughly enjoying summer berry season. Our fridge is stocked with cherries and blueberries. Cherries have not been a huge hit so far but make for great photo ops-doesn't it look like they're eating raw meat, with blood dripping down their chins? Theo hearts blueberries in a major way. Beckett has the eating habits of his father, i.e. he would prefer to eat fatty carbs but will occasionally take a bite or two of cheese or veggie meat.

 Theo has taken to behavior that could only be described as "lounging." He often stops what he's doing and sits down or leans against me or the wall, while he examines something he's been carrying or just looks around at the world. The reading corner in the playroom is a favorite spot he likes to spread out on, but he also sometimes just lays down on the ground and rolls around for a while.

 These long hot summer days are fun but make Beckett SO TIRED by dinner time....
