This past week was the second week of the summer (and the last week ever, hooray!) when Daddy Lovebo left for a week-long boot camp for his LLM in Trial Advocacy at Temple. We only had to make do by ourselves for a day before Jeff's mom Kathy and aunt Debbie arrived to help! They stayed with the babies Wednesday, Thursday and Friday so Mama Lovebo could work, and we had a pretty good time after the babies went to sleep, too!
Saturday morning Theo got us all up early to head to the regional market to stock up on good summer produce: blueberries, eggs, snow peas, sugar snap peas, zucchini, bell peppers, and corn. Then Auntie Tara came over to surprise the boys with TUTUS! I'm not sure they knew what was going on, but I am certain that they will regret these pictures some day. I know Daddy Lovebo regrets them already. That's what you get for leaving!
This started out as a lei but Beck liked to rock it like a pageant sash. I say he rocked it pretty well!
It was as if Theo knew he would be gifted a yellow tutu--doesn't he look grand in his gray and yellow shirt? His tutu is a size 3T so it's riding a little low on his bum but he seemed to enjoy the breeze and swing of the skirt as he walked.
I thought this was a particularly well-composed lunch of blueberries, snow peas, scrambled egg, corn and banana. I tried the corn after seeing friend Toby enjoying corn on the cob last week, and my guys seemed to like it too. I gave it to them the way I like it, which is raw. The first corn of the year--ahhh!
The boys look divine! It's so fun to see them enjoying the summertime (slushies, blueberries, splashparks, etc.)! Miss you guys!
